Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved recognition for her performance in Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began acting in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the movie Tezaab with an established actor Anil Kooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir on Dil. In Mumbai, she was raised within a middle class family parents. When she was a young age, she started to learn dance. As a teenager, she began acting and suffered for several years because most of her films at first were unsuccessful. Then, she discovered success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. The actress took a hiatus from her profession following her marriage before returning to the world of entertainment. Recenty, she had an important part as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit was awarded 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. Her reputation also includes as a social activist.
